STARTING NEW JOBS BY USING IT TECHNOLOGIES
After our trainees finish their IT courses, they will not be employed immediately. New knowledge and skills are not enough to get a job. It is completely new science in finding jobs in IT industry. Have a public persona. To show that you're interested in the tech industry, you need to use tools and sites made by the tech industry. Show off your skills. Have a project to talk about. More not-working than networking. Find companies you want to work for. Job boards. Present your résumé well. How to prepare your first email. These are just some of advices for finding job in IT sector. Even the best IT experts in the world will have trouble finding consistent and profitable work if they are unable to build a positive and well-known reputation. One of the best ways to showcase talents is to utilize an online portfolio, which can highlight the very skills that a web developer/designer wants to use in his or her day-to-day work. Branding one's self is important as well. While an online portfolio is a key component of this, branding also requires having business cards and looking for networking opportunities, both offline and online, to participate in. We will organize 4 trainings on this topic for all our IT trainees in Coka and the same kind of trainings will be delivered in Deta.
TRAININGS FOR TRADITIONAL WAY OF WINE PRODUCING
Grapes and wine form very significant part of Coka’s history. Story began in 1903, when Count Artur Lederer inherited the „Kaštel“ castle and numerous hectares of the fruitful Northern Banat soil from his father-in-law, Count Marcipan, who, in the early 19th century, was a distinguished and enterprising squire. Lederer was a worthy successor to his father-in-law. He expanded vineyards, built the cellar and encouraged peasants to grow vine. The Count was the first to be recorded in the history of viniculture in the Tisa river basin, which has been yielding divine potions for more than a century. Making wine involves several steps in order to transform grapes into a delicious wine. Each step can be executed differently, using different equipment. Every process influences the quality of the final product. Wine producers choose what and how to use every technique, according to their taste or the desired final product. Today, we would like to remind inhabitants of Coka municipality on that tradition and to try to encourage them to continue with the grape and wine production. We will organize 24 trainings during 2 months.
TRAININGS FOR TRADITIONAL BEEKEEPING
The cultivation of the bee has become a profitable and massive business only a few years ago, which, can bring more than decent wages. A four-member family who is seriously involved in the production of honey in 150 hives of this work can live a decent life. Beekeepers from Serbia have discovered a much more lucrative business than honey production - collecting a bee's poison that reaches a price of as much as 70,000 to 100,000 eur per kilogram. What is needed for quality honey? Good grazing bee? Regular removal of hives? Experienced beekeeper? Proper winter nutrition? These question will be answered during training sessions. In order to encourage people in Coka Municipality to starts with the beekeeping, we will organize 24 trainings during 2 months.
OLD CRAFTS TRAININGS
In the era of high technology, there are still numerous artisans in Romania trying to preserve old crafts and family traditions. They are trying to protect the ancient manufacturing processes and techniques working in small shops, in old houses or cellars. Today traditional artisan tools, semi-manufactured goods, products and inventory of certain artisan shops can be seen in valuable museum collections. They are a segment of material cultural heritage and a testimony of a time that disappeared in the process of universal modernization and globalization of everyday life. Most people think of crafting as a fun hobby, but in fact, it’s a very big business. Traditional handicrafts could be a source of employment for hardly employable categories in the community. Craft products are mostly handmade, which is especially appreciated today and such products can be sold in small series, at high prices. We will organize 72 trainings during 6 months in Deta.
RURAL TOURISM TRAININGS
Ordinary tourism is no longer enough for the 21st century traveller who wants more. Rural tourism might be a response to human curiosity or to the pure desire of exploring, but it could be, as well, a natural reaction to a future that seems to remove the past. More and more rural tourism programs are developed in Romania, making this aspect one of the most important for the Romanian tourism market.
