A competition for designing web sites was organised in Čoka last week, as a result of the final part of the Intereg project realised by the municipalities of Čoka and Deta in Romania.

The competition was participated by the course trainees from our municipality and from Romania who jointly applied the knowledge acquired in the previous months. The project manager Aleksandar Đurić undelines that this competition is the best indicator of the fact that the workshop participants have made a progress in terms of acquiring new skills they will find helpful in finding a job more easily.

The atmosphere among the participants was extremely positive and creative, and apart from the new knowledge, the trainees also made new friends and colleagues, which has been confirmed by the participants themselves. .

The goal of this project, among other things, was to empower hard-to-employ groups to find their place on the labour market.

Apart from the IT technology training, the participants have acquired new knowledge of English language, project writing, honey production, wine production, and skills for starting their own business, and new IT jobs such as youtubers and bloggers. If these occupations help them find a job, then we can say that the project fulfilled its purpose, and that Čoka and Deta got the trained staff who will contribute to their respective communities.
