Visit to colleagues in Romania
In late September, in the period between 28 and 30 September, the residents of Čoka visited their colleagues in Romania under the final part of the Intereg project realized by the municipalities of Čoka and Deta in Romania, where they visited several locations and learnt about the ways in which this neighboring country tackles the issue of unemployment.
The first day was planned to have meeting in the Centre for Life-Long Learning of the Politehnika University, where the participants learnt about the possibilities provided by this center regarding additional skills acquired by graduates in cooperation with companies and businessmen.
A visit to the business incubator Incoobox was also organised where the young people are offered a chance to start their own business with favourable conditions regarding the rent of space and all support which they might need while making the first steps in starting their own business.
The participants had also the opportunity to visit some of business premises where they could see the manner in which this business incubator operates and talk with young entrepreneurs and see how satisfied they felt about their working environment.
A meeting was held on the last day of their stay at the National Employment Service where the Service management in Timisoara presented the data on the impact the Corona virus had on the labour market, as well as the measures taken by Romania in order to mitigate the consequences.
